A last breakfast :)

So this morning my family 

went out to breakfast.

 I had fun taking pictures.

We had fun.

As a family. 

Taking pictures.

Goofing off.

As well as eating food :)

I took so pictures of flowers.

All in all

it was a lovely morning.

How grateful I

am for my family.

How blessed I feel

that God

would give me

such amazing parents

and siblings.

No, we are

far from perfect

but even with all our shortcomings

I know, besides Jason,

no five people love me more

than my family.



So the point of this post?
I love my family!
And will miss them like crazy
when I move to Florida! :)

amazing faithfulness! What an amazing thing it is to look into a future know You
are in control if it! And then on top of that putting Jason into it! Wow! Oh
Lord, with my prince by my side and our King guiding and directing us-Lord, what
an adventure it will be!”

Wednesday, March 23, 2011-66 days till I am Katy Hollands!
Today I am thankful for the grace of my God in helping me wait the next 66 days
till I am married!
Thursday, March 24, 2011-65 days till I am Jason’s wife!
Today I am thankful for my nursing friends and how much fun we have in A&P 
Friday, March 25, 2011- 64 days till I am married!
I am so thankful for Grandma and Grandpa Kelley. Today we went to their house
and had so much fun taking sample pics for the reception, talking and eating
subway  We hope someday we will have a home like theirs!
Saturday, March 26, 2011-63 days till I am a wife!!!!
Thankful for the fun time I got to spend with Jason today. We celebrated his
21st birthday and I made him taco salad and dressed up  super fun!

So thankful for how tender and sweet my prince is and how he cherishes me
especially when I am sick!  Makes me feel so protected.

Had an amazing time at my 1st bridal shower! It was such a blessing and was so
fun for my Mom to meet the Hollands family 

So thankful to the Lord for providing for this big, beautiful wedding! Amazed
at His provision!

How amazed I am at the Lords perfect provision!!!! What a fun final bridal

Florida?

So many of you who have been reading

my blog for the last few

months know that 

my amazing fiancee Jason 

is a juggler.

In fact, 

when he knew that he

wanted to get to know me 

better he decided to ask me to be 

his juggling manager

because he wanted to get a business going.

When I asked him why me

he told me 

it was because

I was

"honest and likable"

and goofy me went away 

from that thinking

I wonder if he likes me?

Ahem.

Many of you also know

that in January

(after we got engaged)

we went to Florida for the

American Gospel Tour.

What many of you do not know 

is what the Lord 

did while we were in Florida 

and how it is and will

change our lives.

Jason and I 

had been wondering

if the Lord was going to direct

us into ministry

while in Florida.

So when you think of Florida 

what comes to mind?

How about this: 

 Sunshine.

Blue skies.

Lush Palm Trees.

 Amazing Beaches.

 

Did I mention

sunshine 

and 

amazing beaches?

That my friends is Key West, Florida.

That was what

Jason and I thought the Lord

would place on our

hearts for a ministry.

However.

He did not.

Did I mention

God's ways 

are not

our ways?

He did place an area 

on our hearts.

But it was not what we expected.

Instead of green

it is brown.

Instead of lush palm trees

there is moss.

The area itself is

somewhat run down

and so quiet.

There are hundreds of people in 

hundreds of trailers

,yet, 

it is silent.

Almost like a ghost town.

Waiting.

Expectant.

Welcome to a little place called Summerfield.

that we ministered at

on our way down to Key West.

Notice the spanish moss.

And the brown.

Lots of brown.

The place two 20 year olds would

say lets move here?

Um.

No.

The place the

God of the universe

would say

move here?

Yes.

(yes there is golf cart parking  at walmart for the 70,000 retirees!)

We are moving to Florida to help a church.

Our goals are to

bring honor and glory

to Jesus Christ

first and foremost.

Second. we want to encourage the saints

that have been so faithful even

through some trials the church

has had to endure.

Third, we have a burden and a vision.

For the community.

For the people.

For the youth.

Before I get into that though-

This picture is my parents and a wonderful
couple from our church that
invited us to come to
their winter home
in Florida and were God's way
of opening the doors
for us to be able to speak at their church.
The Lord used them to bring us to where
we believe He will have us
minister there.
How long?
We really aren't quite sure yet.
But we are excited to see what the Lord will do
as we strive to bring
honor and glory to Him.
So when will this all be happening?
Well, sometime around
the 3rd week in June :)
Prayers would be so appreciated for us
in the upcoming few weeks
and for our time
down there.
I will be managing Jason's
juggling business once again.
We are hoping that because their is
a very large community
of retiree's so
hopefully we will be able to
,not only build a
sucessful business,
but also really be able to minister
to the entire community
and bring the love
of Jesus Christ
to every person we come in contact with.

So I know that people are getting used to random posts.

Well, here is another one.

Ahem.

First of all my sister Abby

has a wrote an amazing post about our

Mother's day 2011

Abby is 19 years old and a week after

Jason and I get married

she will be heading off to Mexico for seven

weeks for a missions trip.

Even though she is only 19 years old

she has gone to Papua New Guinea

as well as Mexico once before so this summer will be

her second time traveling to Mexico.

I am so thankful for my sister Abby.

Even though we don't alway see eye to eye on

things or disagree I have never

known someone more fiecely protective of her

family. She is so funny, generous, and loves the Lord.

I will truly miss her when I am gone!

So enough of me rambling on about her!

Hey all!

Long time no post!

24 days till I am married!

Where has the time gone?

This is a really short post but 

I thought I would write it

anyway because I need your help.

Yes, you my amazing blog readers help. 

Ok, here is a question: 

I am going to be married on May 28th (as most of you know)

and my husband and I 

will be moving to Florida to do youth ministry

(more details to come on that later).

I am really starting to get excited about 

shopping for OUR family

in a FRUGAL way!

Any ideas?

I am seriously considering getting into it couponing!

I am amazed at the savings people can get with coupons

but not sure where to start! 

Any suggestions for couponing for a young newlywed just starting out?
