Multitude Monday-Getting started once again!

holy experience

It has been awhile since I have done a Multitude Monday.
For those of you who don't remember
Anna over at Hope Road Blog inspired
me to count my blessings and to
actually make a list of 1,000 blessings
and post 10 of those blessings every Monday as a part of
I have done two posts so far then things got
crazy but hopefully I will be able to be more regular :)
Feel free to visit the link and start counting your own blessings!
So here we go! :)
21- my fiancee! Oh to be able to even SAY that word!
He is the love of my life and a prince among men!
I am just in awe that the Lord brought him into my life!
22-my beautiful engagement ring!
It was cheaper then the one Jason had originally picked
out and fits me even more perfectly!
(Don't worry the engagement story is in the
process of being written up!)
23-a temporary job that came at just the right time!
I am going to be a receptionist at my chiropractors office!
The Lord worked it out just perfectly and I love
doing that kind of thing so I am super excited!
Plus the fact that my boss will be one of the most
influential people in my life!
Super excited!
24-117 days. Till what?
Till I become Mrs. Jason Hollands!
God is amazing!!!!
25-An amazing family that I love so very much!
26-wedding details falling in place
(does anyone have any suggestions
or tips that helped your day go well?
I would love to hear them!)
27-A God Who is so very patient and forgiving!
With Him as my King and
Jason as my prince
I could not be more blessed!
He is so good!
28-School going well so far.
29-amazing friends
and the memories that are made with them!
30-Another day to live.
What are you thankful for today?

Numb.

Numb.
Tired.
Emotional.
Hormonal.
Sick.
Tears.
Exhaustified.
It has been one of those days.
I guess with blogging sometimes it is super
easy to just type what you want others
to know about you.
You know the things that will impress.
So sometimes it is easy to just not type when
you feel absolutely empty.
But I am.
Because even as I am sitting
here typing this I realize-
it is not about me!
I just read about
a girl and her one month
baby boy who died.
She was 15.
And here I am focusing on myself
and my "problems"?!?!
I am so thankful for a merciful heavenly Father.
Ever feel like you will never measure up?
It is ok.
Because of Jesus Christ-WE DON'T HAVE TO!
Forgiveness.
Grace.
Love.
Mercy.
I am realizing that even though I am struggling
I still need to praise Him!
So I will:
  • I praise Him that tomorrow is Christmas Eve! I am so excited to be able to spend time with my family but more than that I am so so so thankful for the reason for the season-my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
  • I praise Him for putting Jason into my life. He is my love, my hero, my prince, my gift straight from God! I could never have asked for anyone better. Last night we were both sick so we curled up on the couch and watched Andy Griffiths with his brother Matt. It was great. I love doing even the small things with that man. I absolutely adore him and I just...am in awe at how the Lord has worked in our relationship! Yesterday I was able to update the website (click here) and the blog (click here) for Jason the Juggler. Because of school I had been unable to spend time managing his business and now I can which I am so excited about! Prayers would be appreciated for that for sure! :)
  • I am so thankful for the American Gospel Tour team! We are leaving for Florida in less that two weeks and I am so excited to see what the Lord does in the time that we are gone!
  • I am so thankful for my family. Yes, we sometimes do not get a long but wow am I blessed with parents and siblings who know the real me but love me in spite of me!
  • I am so blessed to have my Grandma and Grandpa Kelley. They are our guardians but have become our honory grandparents. I could adore them more. Tonight we are going to their house to decorate their tree and eat supper.
  • I am so thankful for chocolate (yes I have been eating it today!)
  • I am so thankful school is done! (More on that later)
  • I am so thankful for the amazing friends that God has given me!
  • I am so thankful for a future and hope because of my Lord Jesus Christ!
  • I am so thankful for Christmas lights.
  • I am so thankful for....
You know.
I am not as discouraged as I was just a few moments ago.
Wow!
Counting blessings has a way of doing that I suppose :)
Praise the Lord!
What do you have to praise Him for tonight?

Multitude Monday

The Lord has been doing some really awesome
things in my life the past few months.
I have so much to be thankful for
yet, so often, I forget to actually stop and thank
Him for them.
Anna over at Hope Road Blog has inspired
me to count my blessings and to
actually make a list of 1,000 blessings
and post 10 of those blessings every Monday as a part of
I had been wanting to for months
but just hadn't had the time but now
since I have deleted facebook I will have more
time to blog and thought it would be a neat thing
to do.
Feel free to visit the link and start counting your own blessings!

So here we go:

holy experience

1.  I am so thankful for my
Precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The more I learn about Him the more I desire to be like Him.
He is truly worth our all!
2. Texts from Jason that make me smile and then
thank the Lord for my prince.
3. Stars that glisten and shine like diamonds in the sky.
Truly the Heavens do declare the glory of our God.
4. A  cellphone (I know weird huh) that allows me
to encourage others and be encouraged in the Lord via
text messaging (yes it is possible! lol).
5. Prayer Journals
6. The opportunities that the Lord has been opening up
for the American Gospel Tour
(I will be sharing more about that later but for now
click above to visit the blog)
7. Cheerios with raisins mixed in=delicious.
8. Hugs.
9. Laughter.
10. Love.

Perfect Peace

Hey all you fellow bloggers out there :)
This past week has been full of the unexpected.
But in an amazing God way!
How do you put in words the amazing thing that God does
in a week?
I am pretty sure it is next to impossible
BUT I am going to try!

This picture sums it up.
I am at peace.
Perfect peace.
God is so good.
That is why I am at peace.
Because ever since I surrendered my fears
to the Lord.
He has given me a freedom that is just...hard for me to
even put into words!
I am in awe of my Savior.
As some of you may know I have been planning on
starting an LPN nursing program this January.
It would take a full two years and then I would have my degree.
Well, the reason I was doing the LPN program in the first place was
because I had applied for the nursing program
at a college near me and had been put on the waiting list.
I knew that no one ever gets in off the waiting list and I still felt
very strongly that the Lord wanted me to be in the medical
field so I applied and was accepted (which is a story in and of itself)
into the LPN program.
I was all set to go.
Starting in January.
Well,  this past Tuesday I got a phone call that very quickly turned my world upside down.
Apparently the Lord has decided that He wanted me to be an RN.
Because I was one of FIVE PEOPLE that got accepted off the wait list
into the nursing program!!!!
The awesome part about it  is that I will be an RN instead of LPN
and that it will take the exact same amount of time which is two years.
Also, I will not have to do school three days a week next summer!
So instead of starting in January...
I am starting in August.
Which, if you haven't looked at a calender lately,
is like a month and a half away!
The other awesome part is that one of my amazing friends
is in the same exact nursing program so we will be able to
go through these next two years together!
I am so thankful we can be together! :)
God is so good!
Ok, to that was my amazing news! :)
God is so good!
Truly, I have never felt more at peace in my life.

I am so content with were I am at and I am so so so excited
to see where the Lord is going to lead!
Life is most definitely an adventure with Jesus in the lead!
I am so thankful for my precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the amazing
blessings that He sees fit to pour on my life.
He is so good!

PRAISE THE LORD!!

I have some VERY EXCITING NEWS!!! I ended up calling the doctor today to get the result from some tests I had done a few weeks ago and found out some answers:
1) I have MONO (and no I haven't been kissing anyone lol) which you really can't do much for just rest and lots of fluids. That explains why I have no energy and am so tired all the time!
2) My vitaman D levels are down. I am on 2000 iu's per day.
3) My B12 levels are also down so I am on 500 mg per day for that.

This may not seem like a big deal to know that I have mono and you may be wondering why I earth I am so excited I have it. THE REASON IS THAT AFTER A YEAR ALMOST OF NOT KNOWING AND GETTING NO ANSWERS WE KNOW WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON! We are not sure how long I have had the mono but I think has been about a month so hopefully it won't stay around too long. So with knowing all this and going to the chiropractor and getting my back and neck fixed I am OFFICIALLY on the mend. GOD IS SO GOOD!

HE IS SO SO SO GOOD!

So yeah, there is my big news for today :)

There is still a while to go until I am back to "normal" but wow just to know what steps to take...GOD IS GOOD. Things are looking up!

Blessings to you all :)

Ps: I have sneezed like over almost 20 times today how weird is that? Can you tell I am in a feisty (good word!) mood tonight (as the picture suggests).

ONCE AGAIN:

WE
SERVE
AN
AWESOME
GOD!

Have you thanked Him for the blessings in your life lately?

PS: (YAYAYAYAYA!!!!)

Ok people it has been 2 months.

2 MONTHS OF THIS:

Yes
Folks;
I wore only the
left shoe
and it was weird!
2 months came and went
and my right shoes were
slowly but surely getting
lost...
well, except when I DIDN'T need
them. That is when they would magically appear :)

NO MORE!!!!

I am pleased to announce that today I looked down at my feet and THIS IS WHAT I SAW:

LOOK
AT
THAT!!!!
For
the 1st
time in 2 MONTHS
I got to wear
both shoes on
both feet
and did not clomp
around! It was amazing!
And it took all of 2 seconds
to get my shoes on as opposed
to like 5 minutes to strap all the annoying straps!!!!

So here I am folks! 2 months and the cast is gone :)

Yes the
pain is still
there BUT I am FREE from
that cast. I can RUN and well
WALk and JUMP as far as the pain
allows me to. I feel as though a
weight has been lifted and actually it literally
has! We serve an awesome God and it is so exciting to know that
while there are alot of questions that still need
answering I am finally getting some answers and help!
PRAISE GOD FOR THAT!!!
Anywho that is my PS to the last post :)
Night again :)
