Changes In Life Right Now

Whew! It seems like lately there have been and will be a lot of life changes that will be happening! Some off the top of my head?

Well, in about four months I will be a Mama. Like-my child will be here. Wow. Big change there! But oh what an exciting one at that!!!!

I have already started working on my new blog! Do any of you have suggestions? I am going for a simpler overall theme (just because I am not finding a background that I have absolutely fallen in love with) and so I am trying more classy-more grown-up? I don't know. Thoughts or suggestions on that? The site will be ready to launch soon though. I am just trying to figure out how to transition smoothly (like if I should bring posts over from this blog that I absolutely love etc...). Any thoughts on that?

I am really getting excited about changes in the area of our little family going more natural! A big part of my other blog will be recipes and adventures and we step out in that way. I am super excited and have stories to share! :)

One thing I want to start doing more is my photography! I love taking pictures and did for a while but then life got busy and I just kind of let it go. Now, I am picking it up again and loving it! Our friends had a baby this past week and we went and saw her when she was less than 24 hours old. Here are some pictures I got of her:

Jason was the first to hold her and was so tender with her! He was just in awe of how perfect she was! It was so sweet to watch him with her! He is going to be an amazing Daddy! :)

I also wanted to mention that my amazing friend Rebecca asked me to let you all know that that even though she is no longer blogging at A Rather Unusual Maiden for God since she got married she is still blogging! You can find her blog at Butterfly Days :) Check it out! :)

Well, I have so many things that I want to blog about! Sour Dough, bread making, an amazing gift from Katie's Mercentile that came in the mail (whole post coming on that one), our experiances thus far with transitioning to a more natural life style, Jason's experiance with inventing a smoothie, some things the Lord is teaching me and some recipes :)

What are your thoughts? Should that be new blog content?

Super Quick! :)

The washer just finished and I need to switch the clothes over!

 We just graduated from our amazing parenting class and the Women's Pregnancy Center after (over) 12 weeks! That was bittersweet for sure! I met so many amazing women there and it was such a blessing from God! We got a brand new, in the box, pack and play and it is ADORABLE!!! We are doing a Noah's Ark theme and it even coordinates with that! :)

Tomorrow (Lord willing) I will be posting a first of guest posts! I am so excited for it and hope you all come back and read it :) Also, if any of you are interested in doing a guest post just comment with your email and I can get back to you :)

Today is the day Jason and I get a small taste of HOME! His sister and her husband are visiting from NY and we are going to have lunch with them. I AM SO EXCITED!!!! I can hardly wait to spend time with them :) It seems like we haven't seen family in forever (when in reality it is just a few months but it feels like forever).

Any ideas for cheap, fun Christmas gifts? Jason and I set a limit of $20 to spend on each other and we are trying to be as creative as possible to make it stretch! It is a fun twist that is for sure :)

Do any of you do cross stitching? I have fallen in love with it all over again! It is very relaxing to me and makes me feel productive :)

Well, I am off to make myself look half way presentable! Lol :) Just to leave you with something visual-here is a picture of me last week at 17 weeks pregnant! And yes I missed that update. Ahem. Cough. We will just gloss over that!

Some quick news

Whew it has been awhile since I updated! I have been sick this week and so I have been taking it easy! :) But I wanted to pop in and just let you know that no I have not quit blogging. ;)

This week I have had a lot of time to get into couponing! Do any of you coupon? I have started using three amazing resources from the same lady and have saved a bunch of money (and even gotten money back) just by using coupons! Do any of you have tips or such about couponing. I am thinking about blogging my shopping endeavors. Would you be interested in that?

Also, Jason and I (our love story) has been featured on my friend Kristen's blog- The King's Bride. Be sure to check it out! :) Kristen has always been an inspiration to me so it was so neat when she asked! She is definitely a blessing :)

It is cold in Florida. No really. Like 60's and 70's and lower and I am FREEZING!!! :) Really wanting to buy that pair of maternity jeans so I can be a little bit warmer!!! :)

I am 15 weeks and my baby is the size of an apple. AND I have been feeling the flutters for a bit but the other night Jason got to feel his little baby move for the first time ever!!! :) So special! We are going to be finding out what it is soon and I have posted a poll to see what your guesses are :) We will see who is right :)

Well, I am off to get ready for the rest of the day.

What an amazing Savior we have! That was definitely a reminder to be oh so thankful to Him for all that He has done for me. Wow! He is good!

Today is going to just be randomness. That is ok though because that is just what is coming to mind :)

I have been wanting to update my blog for the last week but some things have been stopping me. Namely one thing actually.

I realized once again that I was looking to the internet for my fulfillment instead of focusing on my Savior. Is there anything wrong with the internet? No not necessarily but it was starting to be the only thing that consumed my time. So I needed to pull back a bit. Ever have times like that? 

My lil bean is growing by leaps and bounds! Yesterday I was 11 weeks!! Time is flying! Lately I have been having trouble fitting into my skirts! The other night I ran to go get ready for prayer meeting and threw on a skirt and to my chagrin found that it didn't fit! So I threw on another one and that one wouldn't zip up so I finally ended up throwing on some shorts. Sigh. It will only get worse! :) But I don't mind-it is a good cause :) I am missing my skirts though. Anyone know of anywhere that sells reasonably priced maternity skirts? I really prefer skirts over pants (especially here in  Florida for obvious reasons).

Also, I would love to hear any tips on natural birth pros and cons as well as any nursing tips from any Mama's willing to share :) I am also weighing the pros and cons of cloth diapering. Any suggestions?

I love 19 kids and Counting. I have been watching it while folding laundry (I have had a lot to fold!).

Our house is getting de-bugged (is that even a word) right now.

I made a really yummy lunch yesterday (I love when they turn out) and LOVE leftovers! :)

Ben and Jerrys Double Fudge Brownie ice cream sounds really amazing right now.

So I know that people are getting used to random posts.

Well, here is another one.

Ahem.

First of all my sister Abby

has a wrote an amazing post about our

Mother's day 2011

Abby is 19 years old and a week after

Jason and I get married

she will be heading off to Mexico for seven

weeks for a missions trip.

Even though she is only 19 years old

she has gone to Papua New Guinea

as well as Mexico once before so this summer will be

her second time traveling to Mexico.

I am so thankful for my sister Abby.

Even though we don't alway see eye to eye on

things or disagree I have never

known someone more fiecely protective of her

family. She is so funny, generous, and loves the Lord.

I will truly miss her when I am gone!

So enough of me rambling on about her!

Lack of wisdom...teeth?

So, what do I have in common with this young man.

Well, tomorrow I will be sitting

in a dentists chair.

Getting a shot in my mouth.

And getting one of my 

wisdom teeth

taken out.

Gulp.

So why am I 

enduring this torture

subjecting myself to this procedure.

Well, because 

apparently

my mouth is to small.

Oh yes, 

those of you who know me

in real life and know

how much I love to talk are 

probably rolling on the

floor right now laughing.

Ahem.

Physically my mouth is too small.

So last week I noticed

my wisdom tooth 

was starting to poke through

and then this Sunday

I was sitting in church and 

realized that my teeth 

felt a little weird.

Then I realized that my bottom teeth

have indeed been shifting.

Sigh.

Because they had shifted so much

in just a few short days

we decided I needed

to get in as 

soon as possible 

so we could prevent them

from shifting more.

So praise the Lord!

I got an appointment tomorrow.

At 8:45am.

And after that.

I get to rest for this next week.

I am so excited! 

And ready to just...rest.

So yes,

I will be in pain.

But not too bad Lord willing

since it will only be one out.

Yes, I will look like 

a lopsided chipmunk.

But I heard icing it helps so 

hopefully it won't be too bad.

And yes, I will 

not be able to eat a lot of solid

foods for a few days

but hey, I might lose a pound or two!

:)

I know this is weird.
